When you visit campus:

What types of things do I look for on campus to find out about Jewish life?
First, consider what is the size of the Jewish community on campus? Student and Faculty/Staff?
Then consider.... Is/Are there... (see Jewish College Inventory for more possibilities!)
a Hillel/Jewish Student Organization...
a Jewish studies department on campus?
Hebrew offered on campus?
kosher meal plan/kosher kitchen?
opportunities to study in Israel for credit?
Jewish fraternities and sororities?
What about a campus with a small Jewish population?
Don't immediately dismiss a campus with a small Jewish population. Do research on that particular campus to see what Jewish opportunities there are! Many campuses offer a wide range of Jewish opportunities - from Hillel, to Jewish studies classes, to the surrounding community!
